Chapter - 1

Some students who are interested in knowledge often come to me and complain that the most famous novels in Myanmar are mostly Indian novels. But I don't dare to complain about them. Usually, the students who come to me are like hot coals of fire, and if I answer them, they will be furious.

I, however, did not think so, and I thought, "Our people also have good ancient stories." I had to answer, "I hope so," and then I had to write a story about ancient stories, even though I was lazy.

The weather in the month of Leo is very pleasant and clear. The flowers and trees are very beautiful. The sun shines very brightly, but the forests are green and lush, so it seems cooler in such a hot weather. Sometimes it rains heavily during the day and at night. When the rain stops, the sky becomes clear. In the morning, the snow is scattered.

Thus, through the deceit of the season, King Aung Naing of the land of Sokkata, disguised himself and wandered alone into the forest on a horse, enjoying the taste of the forest.

Myat Aung Naing, riding his horse in the shade of a bamboo tree on the bank of a small stream flowing through the forest, was enjoying the serenity and calmness of his mind.

The stream, with its fine sand and pebbles, was very picturesque, and the fish seemed to be playing happily in the stream, safe and sound.

King Aung Naing spent some time in that shade, and after taking a bite, he rode his horse to the hermit's monastery, which was not far from the stream, and spoke to the hermit in friendly terms. The hermit did not know King Aung Naing as the full-fledged king. The full-fledged king did not call himself the full-fledged king, but spoke to the hermit in a charming and handsome manner.

At that moment, the king heard the sound of a drum playing in the nearby mountains, and he was very pleased. So, leaving his horse in the hermitage, he went to the mountains where the sound of the drum was coming from.

Then, a man from a hut in the mountains stopped playing the coconut gong and, by pulling the rope, dried the ripening rice grains and the young birds that were happily eating and drinking.

When the king arrived at his tent in the mountains, a man in a hut made the king sweat for a while, and while he was there, he went into the mountains and plucked sweet, ripe cucumbers and young corn, cut the cucumbers cleanly and roasted the young corn, and the gardener served him. The gardener did not know that he was the king when he did this. He was just a traveler and was doing this without any intention of serving him.

At all times, those who are possessed of the spirit of a good man are pleased with the work of honest and upright people, even if they themselves cannot do it. They are fond of the beauty of the forest, the springs, the waterfalls, and the mountains. Because of this, King Sokkata seemed to enjoy the hospitality of the mountain guards very much.

Because of this nature, the king said this to the mountain guard.

“Brother, I am the King of Sokhat. When I return to Nay Pyi Taw, I will reward you. Come,” he said, giving me a piece of royal crystal.

The ranger was also very surprised and said this with wide eyes.

"If what you say is true, Your Majesty, you are no longer in power and you are no longer in power. The people of the land do not need to come to Your Majesty, and therefore you do not need to accept the Aung Kyar Thalyn. I will continue." "What did you say, brother?"

"How did His Majesty the King leave Nay Pyi Taw?"

"My dear, I would like to know how the poor people in my kingdom live and work. What kind of attitude they have in living and working. I would also like to visit the temple of the great mountain and the forest. I would also like to see the wise Sukhamen."

"That's right..."

"With that in mind, I left the palace quietly, without the knowledge of any of the queens, the chiefs, or the generals, and entrusted my kinsman (younger brother) who was nothing different from me, and who was of the same blood, to rule in my place."

"That's why it's right to propose a village."

“What do you mean, brother? My brother-in-law is the son of the chief priest of our country. He studied with me at the university. He is a very loyal and loving person.”

"As the king said, truth may exist among people, but the desires of people always deviate from truth."

"Brother, please tell me the deeper meaning..."

“Your Majesty, among the sons of the sensual realm, there is a desire for material things, a desire for women. This is called, according to the words of the wise, the desire for material things, the desire for sensual pleasures. When a person has a great desire for material things, elephants, horses, buffaloes, cows, farmland, gold, silver, and royal wealth, etc., he loses his steadfastness and finds it difficult to be faithful. As for material things, position, and royal wealth, the desire for material things is very difficult for everyone to bear, so there are those who are steadfast, but it is very difficult to be faithful for position, position, and royal wealth…”

"Well.. tell me.." "But the lust for those women is worse."

"The..."

“Yes..” “In the palace of the King, there are queens who are the most beautiful of women, as well as concubines, concubines, and concubines. Those women, who are like goddesses, with small waists and breasts, and whose limbs are like the body of a woman, are they not full of desire? Desire is the greatest of a woman’s appearance, voice, and touch. When that desire arises, it is very rare for a man to be faithful...” “Yes, tell me, brother...”

"The king entrusted a man who was indistinguishable from the king in appearance, appearance, and features, to act as his representative, and then he disappeared. That priest's son acted as the king. The four queens, the younger queens, and the concubines would recognize that priest's son as the king."

"Well..."

"With that in mind, the queens will be attracted. They will be attracted. They will be attracted by the nature of women. How can that person not be there? Because he is not only attracted to the beauty but also to those precious women, how can he not be attracted to the position of the king, the lord of the golden palace, and remain faithful?"

When the king heard the words of the forest guard, the king's handsome and steadfast face immediately softened, as if the snake had found a stone of medicine. The king's composure was about to be broken. The forest guard, seeing the king's composure, continued to speak thus:

"Your Majesty, a person should think carefully before doing something. After doing something, there is no regret and no restlessness. Only today's preparation, as if yesterday were yesterday and tomorrow will be, is the path to success for people."

King Aung Naing of Sokkata was shocked by the words of the farmer, so he immediately greeted the farmer and returned to the hermit's monastery.

King Aung Naing did not find the hermit in the hermit's house. The hermit seemed to have gone into the forest for fruit. As beautiful as this hermit is, I am not beautiful. What beauty can there be in me who is not beautiful? There is no need to worry about the hermit. He has not closed his robe but has gone into the forest and is wandering around. The hermit is at peace, the king said.

Although he remembered, he was still caught in the bonds of lust and sensual pleasures, and after preparing his horse, he returned to his homeland in the darkness.

The king arrived at the palace after the sun had set, and the city gates were closed. The king said this.

"Hey, gatekeeper, open the door." "What's wrong, do you want to die?"

"I am King Aung Naing of Sokkata. Open the door quickly."

"Look, you son of a bitch, you're so insulting, I think you want to die. Where will the king be defeated? Where did the king go and where will he return? You bastards!"

"Oh my God, oh my God," the king had already thought of this.

I have gone out secretly and quietly. If you call me king, you will not believe me. If you open the door every time you call me king, my kingdom will quickly be destroyed. The people of Lamian will treat me as a villain, a scoundrel, and an enemy.

Having made this decision, the king left the city gate and went to a hut near the moat, where he spent the evening.

The men of the mine... watched with bated breath, and saw a horse galloping away, so the gatekeeper and the gatekeepers kept watch that night.

The king, however, was quietly in his palace, and suddenly, in the early hours of the night, he could not sleep, and his mind was thus occupied.
