Why are some people more successful than others? Why do some people make more money ? Why do some people enjoy a happier life ? What is the real secret to success ?
I have often given talks on these questions. I asked the audience, “How many people here would like to double their income?” When I asked that, everyone smiled and raised their hands… So I asked again. How many people here would like to lose weight ? Or get out of debt ? “Do you want to increase your financial freedom ? ” This time, everyone laughed again. Some were quite happy and raised their hands. The truth is, everyone has different goals for money… for success… In fact, almost everyone, including me, just wants to make more money… and after making money, they want to spend it with their family.
We need to not only make more money, but also improve our financial processes systematically. So, once we start working on our financial processes, we need to practice our personal qualities and skills to become more brilliant than before. Then we will be able to control the money we earn and be free from debt if we have it.
The issues we hear most in our daily lives are largely based on money... These are words like this.
“I was not happy in my childhood. I did not have a good education.” “I did not have a penny.” “My boss was stingy...”
"The marriage is not going well," "No one cares," and the economy is not going well.
In reality, these people have good intentions, but they are suffering from these inconveniences because they cannot put them into practice.
If anyone wants to achieve their goals, it is impossible. Instead of imagining things that are not yet possible, they should strive to achieve them from within their reach. There should be no excuses or justifications here. So, first try to do the best you can.
Most people who lose make excuses, while those who succeed are bound to move forward in their progress.
Starting modestly from the bottom
Very few people succeed with so many advantages.
To give you my personal perspective, I didn't finish high school.
For many years, I had to do only hard, tiring work.
I've lived my life with limited education, limited skills, and limited futures. So I asked myself, "Why do some people have more success than others? " ...
This question has changed my life. Over the years, I have read over a thousand books on success and progress.
The main thing that books give is the knowledge and wisdom to "set your own rules". If you set your own rules and try hard, you will definitely succeed in everything. I also followed this good path and my life changed.
Soon, my trading was successful and my management improved. Then, when I was financially stable, I was able to go back to school and try to get an MBA.
I was 30 when I got my MBA. After I graduated, I got a job at Suzuki in Canada.
Although I didn't understand anything about the business at first, I was able to work hard and become a trusted person in the company.
Later, I started working as a real estate agent without any knowledge or skills. In fact, I was successful because I disciplined myself and had no experience.
I studied every day about various businesses. Then I built a shopping mall. I built an office building and ran various businesses. Then I took courses and trained to become a successful entrepreneur. I listened to advice from consultants. I spoke, I wrote. I documented, I distributed. So I combined everything I learned with my experience and published books. I gave seminars. I published a training program that was published in 36 languages and distributed to 54 countries. I was able to sell over $500 million worth of training programs.
I have been a consultant to over 1,000 companies for many years and have given talks to 5 million people.
In fact, I am successful because I can set my own rules.
A few years ago, I was attending a conference in Washington, D.C. During the lunch break, I ate lunch at a nearby restaurant. The place was packed. So, since the tables for four were full, I went to sit in an empty space by myself.
After a while, a slightly older man and a young woman entered the restaurant where I was eating. The young woman was probably the man's secretary. The woman was looking for a place to sit, holding food in her hands. Since there was no space where I was sitting, I invited the man and the young woman who were looking for a seat to sit next to me.
At first the old man hesitated. Finally he sat down next to me. Then he thanked me.
So we had lunch together and started talking. The man I was talking to was called “Kop Kop Mia.” When I heard this name, I knew who he was right away. This man was a successful businessman. “Kop Kop Mia is the author of four famous and best-selling books. In each book he wrote, he wrote about 250 rules and principles that you need to follow to be successful. These rules are actually important rules that he himself has studied and researched for over 50 years.
I've read all 4 of his books. I've read each one more than once.
After we had lunch, I asked the teacher a few questions. One of his memorable words was, “Of the 1,000 ways to succeed, the most important thing is whether you think about it or not.” The teacher smiled and looked at me. It seemed that many people were asking him questions. The teacher continued by saying that if you don’t set yourself up for success, you won’t succeed in anything.
I understand very well that being able to discipline yourself without any self-criticism is a key to personal greatness and success.
2 worst enemies
Self-discipline is the key to success, but conversely, a lack of it can lead to failure, frustration, slow progress, and loss of joy in life.
The two biggest enemies of success, happiness, and fulfillment are lack of patience and easy ways to get by.
People with low resilience tend to take the easy way out, no matter the time or situation. So they take shortcuts to achieve success.
These people tend to arrive late for work and leave early at the first opportunity. They are interested in making money from anything, including quick money-making ventures.
So, those who use the easiest, fastest method don't actually achieve true success.
