In the shadow of universities

I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to study at Yangon University, Mandalay University, and the University of Education, and I have been able to write monthly articles for the magazine, Baa Sam Pae Phyu. I would like to express my gratitude and happiness because my articles are read and encouraged not only by people in Myanmar but also by people from abroad.
Myanmar, Yangon University was founded in 1920, just before the war broke out in 1941, and after the war, 1946 to 1950..., 1951-1955 (about the education system) These are my academic years, 1956-1961 (Yankin-Hteetan College), etc. If you count the time roughly, 1951-1955 is my academic year. In 1951-1955, I studied for three years at Yangon University and one year at Mandalay University, a total of four academic years. In 1965-67, I attended the University of Education on “Study Leave” as a high school teacher (month-2). I also had the opportunity to attend the postgraduate education degree called B.Ed as a BA (Bachelor of Arts).
It's true that I was a university student again after working for (10) years, and I was deeply attached to the shadows and atmosphere of my university.
The first avenue, which starts with the water chestnut trees, is followed by a green lawn and thick forests of trees, old trees, mango trees, maran trees, large-stemmed trees, mahogany trees that often shed their leaves in spring, the Bohemian tussock trees in front of the Judasan (formerly known as Japson) classrooms, bamboo trees in front of the Judasan Pagoda, purple ivy climbing the side wall of the Srisaung entrance hall, a row of kankaw trees in front of the Inya Hall, and the asphalt road that crosses the main university to the other side of the university, with rows of khao trees growing on both sides, which is called khao road and paksa tree row, so some call it paksa tree road. It is true that I cannot help but miss the land of my mother university, where I drank the milk of knowledge, just like the beautiful and peaceful words of the monk of Kandaw Minkyaung, “The hard is also the soft, the shady is also the beautiful, the ripe is the fruit.”
The occasional cooing of pigeons, the singing of birds, the chirping of the cicadas that began to be heard in March of summer... all of them are just a source of nostalgia. Writers also began to write novels set in university settings, which greatly influenced readers. One writer wrote that students who went to university were looking for a husband, but I couldn't help but be fascinated by his romance novels. At that time, romance novels set in university were popping up like wildfire, and readers became obsessed with them.
Personally speaking, when I first entered university, I had the main goal of writing a page in history in the Dream World, which was buried deep in my heart. 15 years later, the poems written by Yangon University students also had this goal in mind.
Lovely rainy weather
To make a page of history
A group of young people arrived.
Maung Thit Lwin on the list
I was there too.
New environment
Lovely university life
I just got it..

What we do should have meaning. It should have meaning in the three parts of our body, mind, and heart. At that time, I was 17 years old, and I was writing letters as a university student and a budding writer. The heartbeats of our time are paintings or poems of human life.
There are no corrupt people here, no deviants from the truth, no intellectuals and worldly people, no superficial thinkers. There are. All kinds of flowers bloom. Among them are poisonous flowers. No matter what you say, university life is lovely. It is also alive and well for the future beauty of life. If the shadows, feelings, and heartbeats of our life environment, our era are pleasant and nostalgic for readers, then it is worth writing articles about Yangon, Mandalay, and the University of Education.
I don't want us Burmese to be people who waste their lives. May my beloved readers, the people, and the world be happy and prosperous.
