Parents usually send their children to preschool between the ages of 3 and 5. Many parents consider it necessary to send their children to preschool when they reach this age, and they also send their children to preschool as a tradition. Most of them do this as a way of preparing them for school.
Researchers say that interacting with peers has both social and educational benefits for children of this age. However, preschools are a great way to help children develop social skills and lay the foundation for education.
Preschool often begins to cultivate and train children in listening, communication, sharing, patience, and obedience, providing them with opportunities to fit into various social environments and to make good progress in their intellectual development.
Most children are ready to go to preschool around the age of 3. Some are not. So I recommend preparing for preschool in advance.
Where I am not, my child
Did you get it after leaving it for a whole day?
Have you ever sent your child to daycare? Have you ever sent your child to a sports class or a music class? If you have done these things, your child will be happy to go to preschool. If you haven't, your child will have separation anxiety. If this happens, you may need to leave your child with a neighbor, send him to his grandparents, or train him for a week or a month before he goes to preschool.
My child is with other children.
Do you like to play together?
When your child enters preschool, they will learn to share, listen, and take turns with other children. They will also learn to sit quietly for a while in a group of children of the same age. For example, when the teacher is telling a story. Children are ready to be close, affectionate, and happy with other children. Sometimes they need to practice. Encourage them to play with the children in their neighborhood.
Has your child learned to go to the toilet?
Almost all preschools teach toilet training. When you inquire about the preschool, you should ask about toilet training carefully. It is best if your child can practice toilet training in advance, such as washing their feet and hands by themselves, and asking questions openly when they encounter problems. Therefore, it is best to practice as much as necessary before sending them to preschool. If you force them to practice for a short time right before starting school, it will take longer and be more difficult.
If your child is already happily playing with other children, building new games, and asking new questions, it's not too late. Let me tell you, they are ready to learn any subject and create success in life.
