When I was young, I was a child.
Today, Kan Chun, who is a cartoonist, a painter, and a painter, was born on April 4 , 1946 , to his mother, Daw Shwe. His father is U Ba Htay. Their national registration numbers are AE - 154837 and AE 154836. I don't know who ( 7 ) and who ( 6 ) are. He is a ( 7 ) sibling . He is a twin girl. He is not a twin. He is younger than the cartoonist Bo Maung. He is older than the photographer Hla Win. Kan Chun has one older brother and one younger sister. The three siblings are Kan Chun, Bo Maung, and Hla Win.
My mother used to say that Kanchun was born by chance and coincidence. Kanchun was born at St. Peter's Hospital ( now a school ) . On the day Kanchun was born, six mothers gave birth to Kanchun in the delivery room. All of them were girls. Then Kanchun's mother gave birth to Kanchun. After Kanchun came to the human world, the next one came to the human world. Six girls. Kanchun was born as a boy because he was a middle-aged man. So the doctor who gave birth to Kanchun at night named him Kanchun, "Your name is Kanchun."
Kan Chun's earliest memory of work is that he was a matchmaker when he was a child. The young man would put a love letter in Kan Chun's bag and tell her that he would go to the hotel and give her a cake. He was four or five years old. Kan Chun's letter and cake started running. When he got to the hotel, did he want to eat cake? Rop. Rop, a love letter with cake came to Kan Chun's bag. The young woman took the letter from Kan Chun's bag and put it in her hand. She made a silk curtain for him. At that time, he thought he was a matchmaker. This is Kan Chun's service when he was a child. You are in Pyaw Bwe.
Throughout my childhood, I had nothing special to say about my school life. I was lucky enough to attend Pyaw Bwe High School. I started kindergarten. I didn't finish school for a year before I moved back to Mandalay with my family. In Mandalay, I started my primary education in Chan Myat Sidaung ( Kan Village ).
After passing the fourth grade, I had to change to the fifth grade . The principal there was Teacher U Ba Thaw. I started reading Kan Chun novels around the fifth or sixth grade. I first started reading witchcraft and ghost stories. Written by Teacher Mya Sek and Mya Setshin. When I finished the witchcraft stories, I had to read the University of Myint Naing. U Aye Maung taught Kan Chun to read. U Aye Maung was from Kan Sek. He worked at the old city station. He had a large pine box of books and four or five books. The University of Myint Naing gave them to me to read, and I asked them to read them to me. I thought it was very good, and I thought it was Myat Ko in the army, then Mya Than Tint, Thakin Mya Than's Naom Tint, and then Saya Mya Than Tint and Thakin Mya Than's novels in succession. When he ran out of books from those great teachers, he gave him Aung Lin's "A Piece of Sand" to read.
From there, I started reading Veda Maung Ma Nyein. Then, if I read Bhamo Tin Aung, a writer, I would read everything that writer had written. That was in the fifth, sixth, and seventh grades. I don't remember the seventh. Kanchon passed the seventh grade, which was the last year of the seventh grade of the government exam. After Kanchon passed the seventh grade, the seventh grade became the school exam, and the eighth grade became the government exam ( board exam ).
In the ninth and tenth grades, I had to carry the books of Myint Kyaw, Myint Ni, Maung Kyi Swe, Kara Mek. Than Swe, Aung Lin along with my school books. Kan Chun had already transferred to a private school in the ninth grade. He went to Hla Science High School. I think it was around 1958/59. I met Ko Nyein ( Mandalay ) in the ninth grade. He was reading a lot of great books, and Kan Chun was writing to Myint Kyaw. He had read Myint Kyaw’s novels and had written to me to show his sympathy for Myint Kyaw and to ask him to help me with my sister. Myint Kyaw went on a study tour to Mandalay to write, and he met Kan Chun. He was at the science school. Hla Science School was founded by U Hla Maung. U Hla Maung is the father of the writer Kyaw Swar Htet.
When I met Kan Chun, the writer Myint Kyaw was very surprised. " My brother is still a child " was the first thing Myint Kyaw said to Kan Chun when he met him. At that time, Kan Chun accompanied Myint Kyaw to the places he wanted to go. Myint Kyaw's ' Sapa Phyu' poem is set in Mandalay. Kan Chun's name is in the opening words of the poem. At that time, Kan Chun had started writing. It was a love letter. Myint Kyaw and I collected letters to our beloved, and Kan Chun's love letter was included. Sir, Kan Chun's name was established in the literary world through love letters.
While writing that , I read Myaing's book. So I wanted to be a journalist again. Then I went to college. For example, Thein Pe Myint's "The East Comes Out of the North", and while reading those thick books, I got caught up in some kind of conflict, materialism, the three ways of drinking water, and the problem of karma. I stopped writing to my girlfriend.
Only the writing of the letters stopped. The stupid actions did not stop. To be specific, when Win Oo’s movie “I Want to Be Alone” was shown in the ninth grade, Kan Chun, Khin Maung Tint, Win Oo, parted his hair in the middle, drew a mustache, and put on a fake eyebrow with black ink, and took a photo of Win Oo. I sent Win Oo a photo. His fans. Please send me a photo of Win Oo. Khin Maung Tint is now the shooting manager. Thingyan Moe, Dandary, and For Blood are the movies that Khin Maung Tint was responsible for.
Kan Chun and his childhood were Kan Chun's childhood, when he was a child with a child's knowledge and a child's thoughts. During the period that can be called childhood , I should also say "literary childhood". Even in my childhood, when I entered the literary world, I still had the habit of writing here and there. In 1973, I wrote to Saya Ban Maw Tin Aung. Saya Ban Maw Tin Aung also wrote back. In a Pinya Bookstore branded bag.
When I reread Saya Bhanmaw Tin Aung's letter, I could only read about a third of it. I couldn't read the whole thing. At that time, I was able to read what I wrote and what the teacher was saying in connection with it. Now I have forgotten. Saya Bhanmaw Tin Aung's letter is attached. If readers are interested, let's read it.
Good luck. Good luck.
I once wrote to Myint Kyaw that I wanted to give him my sister. I once took a picture of Win Oo and sent it to him as Win Oo. I started writing letters to my girlfriend and entered the literary field.
I wrote to Saya Bhammaw Tin Aung. When I was young, I had nine children.
